My name is Takuma Habu (土生拓磨), and I go by “Tak.”
I’m a Lecturer in Strategy and Business Economics at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, Cornell University. I was previously a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Cornell University (2023–25).
I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago (2023) and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford (2012), having worked at Oxera (an economics consulting firm) in between.
I am also a proud (new!) father and a keen cyclist/photographer.
